For way over 20 years, Belgian Body Beats Production specializes in concert promotion and to a certain extend, even performing live. With that much of experience it should be easy to pull another decent festival besides the BIM Fest, and that’s exactly what they did in 2009 with the first Body Beats festival. For that first edition they already could come up with a set of big names such as THE NEON JUDGEMENT, PSYCHE or PORTION CONTROL amongst others. The festival met with great reception, so the decision that there would be a second edition wasn’t a hard thing to make. On 1st May 2010, the festival is going to return now with a bang. The headlining slot was given to the cross-over electro-punks of CASSANDRA COMPLEX who will definitely prove they’re still a force to be reckoned with, even after such a long time.

Both guitarists from the Norwegian extreme metal band PANTHEON I have received endorsement deals from ESP Guitars and Morley Pedals. Guitarist Sagstad (TROLLFEST, SARKOM), who plays guitars from the ESP range commented, “Anyone who has played an ESP guitar will understand perfectly when I say that we wanted the best and we got the best”. Guitarist/Vocalist Kvebek (DEN SAAKALDTE, ex 1349) has this to say about his guitars of choice: “To hold an ESP Ltd guitar in your hands is the musical equivalent to holding a Gatling gun during a battle. It will crush everything in its path and strike fear in the weak”.- Details

Better known for his work as a sculptor and as the designer of some of the startling stage sets used by bands such as MAYHEM, Spacebrain (René M. Hamel) has continuing to develop his role as musician with his own project SUCHTHAUS, a band with close links to the Industrial genre, but one, which its founder insists, is impossible to categorise, as it encompasses aspects from many genres. As Spacebrain explains “I like to listen to a variety of music, and I didn’t really want to restrict myself to composing and playing in a narrowly defined style. SUCHTHAUS gives me the freedom to sculpt a piece of music in much the same way as I would sculpt a piece of art, but using sound instead of metal or other tangible materials”.- Details

The German Metalcore Band ARRANGED CHAOS has inked a deal with the Netherlands based label Apollon Records, who is set to release the band’s first full-length album “As Time Goes Bye” in late spring of this year.Founded in Leipzig, Germany, in the autumn of 2005 by drummer Patrick Küffner, guitarist Philipp Küffner, and then-bass player Ricardo, the band started life as GODFACE, and underwent the obligatory name and line up changes that most bands are subjected to, before settling on the name ARRANGED CHAOS. Guitarist Claudius Herbst joined the band following a jam session, and on his recommendation Felix Kießig (BLUTROT) was quickly added as vocalist.- Details
