CARPATHIAN FOREST front man NATTEFROST has entered the studio so that production work on his third full-length solo album can begin. With a working title of “Opfergang”, the album will feature guest appearances from musicians such as DIRGE REP (ORCUSTUS, SECHT) and VRANGSINN (CARPATHIAN FOREST, SECHT, A WASTE OF TALENT). The latter is also producing the album at his own studio in the south west of Norway. More details regarding guests, track listing etc., will be revealed shortly. Commenting on the new album NATTEFROST said: “Opfergang” has been recorded in pain, and was wrenched straight out of hell. The end-result will be the most brutal NATTEFROST album to date”.

German electro label which closed down end of 2007 is now fully back and plans even to release physical CDs again. Here is what label boss Stefan Herwig posted on the label website: Hello boys and girls,
I am writing this in English with the intention to reach as many people as possible right now. Dutch metal band HAIL OF BULLETS will release a new mini cd in the summer. The band around drummer Ed Warby (Gorefest) and Stephan Gebédi (Thanatos) is currently on a busy festival tour around Europe. Statement: "We go to war again with ‘Warsaw Rising’, an EP featuring two brand new tracks, one cover and three live recordings!" as written on their official myspace.
The new songs are 'Liberators', a rumbling ode to one of the most magnificent bombers ever built and the title track which tells the tragic tale of the bloody 1944 Warsaw uprising.
