Soft Cell - “Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret” 40th Anniversary
Singer Marc Almond and instrumentalist Dave Ball will come together for the last time as SOFT CELL for two exclusive concerts in Bochum and Berlin in spring 2023! When SOFT CELL played a spectacular, sold-out show in front of 20,000 fans at the O2 in London in September 2018, the London concert was seen by everyone as the grand finale. Singer Marc Almond and instrumentalist Dave Ball originally went their separate ways in 1984 before reuniting for two years in the early 2000s to record a new album, ‘Cruelty Without Beauty’.
The intent at the O2 concert was to mark the end of a roller coaster ride that saw SOFT CELL secure three top ten albums and six top ten singles, including 1981’s all-conquering ‘Tainted Love’, while also serving as a role model for synthesizer acts like PET SHOP BOYS. Now SOFT CELL are coming again and this time really for the LAST TIME for two exclusive concerts in Germany and they will perform their ‘Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret’ and their Best Ofs. There will be no more concerts in Germany or the Netherlands.
