Hurts
The British synth duo HURTS came out of nowhere in 2010 and dominated instantly the international charts. Their debut ‘Happiness’ as well as the overwhelming singles ‘Wonderful Life’ and ‘Stay’ remained in Europe's hit lists for months and got numerous gold and platinum awards. Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson were the protagonists of an artistic movement which transported the ideals of the 80s into the present with their elegant style between new wave, synth sounds as well as melancholic zeitgeist pop.
Their second record ‘Exile’ was released in 2013 which confirmed the success of the debut immediately. HURTS entered the top 10 Europe-wide again, the single ‘Miracle’ also developed into a hit. The next chapter of their extraordinary career will be written from the 9th Oct: Then, their third record ‘Surrender’ will be released with which HURTS show new sounds and nuances.
