Preview GUANO APES - “Free the Monkey-Tour” Germany 2025/26

The GUANO APES’ tour has unfortunately been postponed due to health reasons. However, there’s a silver lining: with the rescheduling comes a move to larger venues, meaning tickets are now available again for what was previously an almost sold-out tour. Fans can breathe a sigh of relief! The tour will kick off with a warm-up show in Chemnitz on October 18, 2025. The GUANO APES have taken a more relaxed approach these days. Rather than adhering to market pressures and churning out new albums every 18 months, the Göttingen-based band has stepped away from that cycle. Instead, they take to the stage whenever their creative “inner monkey” demands it. But once the lights go up, relaxation gives way to pure energy. Fans who attended their first post-pandemic tour or caught one of their electrifying festival performances know what’s in store. 

From the opening notes of the aptly titled ‘You Can’t Stop Me’ to the last roaring chord of their encore ‘Lords of the Boards’, the GUANO APES unleash their wild energy, leaving every audience fully rocked. This return to raw, analogue power is no coincidence. In a world increasingly dominated by digitalization, the GUANO APES stand as a counterforce. As the band puts it: "We’re closer to the monkey than to AI. There’s a primal force within humans, the old-world monkeys, that drives us toward freedom. That’s what we’ve been supporting tonally for nearly three decades, together with our audience. Amid this age of AI and digital detachment, grounding ourselves in nature is more important than ever. With our handmade sound, we aim to help the audience reconnect with their inner compass, reset with a tonal nudge, and ultimately unleash their inner monkey.”
