For decades, NICK CAVE has stood as one of the last great romantics of Rock music - an artist who sings of pain and hope, apocalypse and redemption with the same fierce urgency. Together with THE BAD SEEDS, the multinational ensemble that rose from the ashes of THE BIRTHDAY PARTY in 1983, Cave has created a body of work that defies easy categorisation: oscillating between dark gospel, literary balladry and explosive Rock.
Eighteen studio albums, countless side projects, film scores and literary works testify to his inexhaustible creativity.
Cave first reached a wider audience in 1995 with his duet with KYLIE MINOGUE, ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ - a murder ballad both macabre and hauntingly melodic. Yet the true brilliance of THE BAD SEEDS reveals itself on stage. It is there that their songs unfold their full intensity: at times whispering and fragile, then suddenly unleashed, almost violent. The audience becomes part of a ritual in which Cave - often leaning over the edge of the stage with outstretched arms - embodies a near-biblical presence.
Following the success of their acclaimed album ‘Wild God’ and a completely sold-out 2024/25 world tour, NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS are set to return to Europe in summer 2026. More than thirty concerts are planned, stretching from Ireland to Greece and Lithuania.
A particularly symbolic highlight will take place in Brighton - Cave’s adopted home - where the band will perform an exclusive UK hometown show on 31 July 2026, promising a night that will be remembered by fans and the city alike.
Germany, too, can look forward to a series of truly special evenings. Between June and August, the band will perform open-air concerts in Lingen (Open Air at EmslandArena), Berlin (Waldbühne), Dresden (Filmnächte am Elbufer), Munich (Königsplatz), and Bonn (Kunst!Rasen).
Those who have witnessed THE BAD SEEDS live know that these performances transcend the boundaries of Rock music - they are nocturnal ceremonies where anguish and consolation, darkness and light intertwine. Critics regularly describe them as “immensely moving” and “utterly overwhelming.”
The summer of 2026 thus promises to open yet another extraordinary chapter in the live legacy of NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS - with open-air concerts across Germany that no fan should miss.
