Summer Nights Open Air
Austria has his own heavy metal festival ‘Summer Nights Open Air.’ For the thirth time 54 bands on two stages from 22 - 24 May. Remarkable is that many metal bands from Germany are represented on this festival. With headliner: KREATOR, ARCH ENEMY, SATYRICON, and many more powerfull bands.

What makes this festival so special is that the area is located between Germany and Austria. The festival ground is in Burg Frauenstein but the headoffice is in Mining Am Inn. Summer Nights Open Air is on the Austrian side, but the camping on the German side. The two different countries are divided by a river called ‘Inn.’ The official festival website has a very detailed map and images from the area.

Tickets
It is possible to order the tickets on the site itself. A 3-days ticket is 59.00 euros. What is very cheap for such a package. And a daily ticket is 35.00 euros. Also they have their own festival t-shirt. You can pre-order it also on the website.
