Anathema
ANATHEMA is a British Alternative Rock Band which was founded in 1990. At the beginning, they played rather Gothic Metal, nevertheless, they changed their stile visibly since their album ‘Eternity’ appeared in 1996 - their songs became more and more atmospheric and more graceful. Currently, the band consists of Daniel "Danny" Cavanagh (Lead guitar), Vincent Cavanagh (voice, rhythm guitar), Jamie Cavanagh (bass), John Douglas (drums) and Les Smith (keyboard).
On the 11th of June 2010, with ‘We're Here Because We're Here’ they published their eighth studio album up to now and will go on tour in autumn 2010. With their new songs in the luggage, they'll come also to the Backstage Munich on 17th October.
