DE/VISION undoubtedly is one of the lading representatives in the Synth Pop genre. 2007’s ‘NOOB’ was the duo's first equal collaborative effort with their long-time producers Schumann & Bach and therefore a major step forward for Steffen and Thomas. At the beginning of a new decade, Steffen and Thomas have decided to go to the next level and towards independency by founding their own label Popgefahr Records, ought to grant them even more artistic freedom and control.Their new album was given the same name as their label, ‘Popgefahr’, and it became a large success, supported with a string of celebrated live shows. By the end of August, the duo will be hitting the road again to start “Popgefahr Tour 2010 - Part II”.
As on “Part I” they won’t be coming alone and bring two befriended bands to support them. The first one will be British TENEK who were a part of “Part I” already and who will once again be enrichment for the tour with lots of stuff from both their albums. Second in league will be Reagan Jones and Andrew Sega better known under their alias IRIS. They’ve got a new album in the pipeline as well called ‘Blacklight’, which will be released by the beginning of September and so it’s not so unlikely we’ll be able to catch some songs of the new album live. These 3 bands will hit the stage at Oberhausen’s Saint Club on 9th September and cater for a fun evening. Even if you’re just a bit into synthetic pop music you shouldn’t miss it.
