Muffathalle, Munich, Germany
26th February 2011
Kim Wilde

Kim Wilde who is actually called Kimberly Smith, is a British singer who was the pop-icon of the 80s. In her career, she achieved a lot of success, as for example with her first single ‘Kids in America’ landing internationally in the Top Five of the charts. Her first album ‘Kim Wilde’ appearing in 1981 was up to now her most successful album in Germany and achieved position 1 of the charts. She was on tour with Michael Jackson several months, received some prices and in 2003, she interpreted the song ‘Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime’ successfully with Nena.

In the meantime, it was rather quiet around the artist whom we could above all as a landscape gardener on the British television see since middle of the 90s. Now on 27th August 2010, her new album ‘Come On And Play’ is released which should probably remind very much of the 1980s. Then she'll go on tour and also comes to the Muffathalle to Munich on the 26th of February 2011.
