“The Great and Terrible” Ozzy Osbourne will make Moscow scream! On the 13th of September in DS “Megasport” na Hodynskom Pole, there will take place the show of cult musician, “bat eater” and “godfather of heavy metal” OZZY OSBOURNE.
In the world of modern rock, there isn’t any more disputable figure then the former vocalist of legendary BLACK SABBATH: no other musician in the era of rock attracted such great interest with a constant participation in scandals. During his 30-year career OSBOURNE often agitated the imagination of his listeners and shocked the audience breaking the rules of decency and as a result his concerts in big cities were sometimes banned or there came numerous lawsuits. There were written dozens of books about him and Hollywood producers have lately informed of their intention to shoot a film about the famous rocker’s life and creative work.
Over 75 million records of this great rock musician are sold worldwide and such album as ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ and ‘No More Tears’ were certified as quad-platinum. On the 15th of June 2010, there appeared OSBOURNE’s 10th studio album entitled ‘Scream’. The main single off the new CD becomes track ‘Let Me Hear Your Scream’ which was presented to the audience in an episode of crime television series “CSI: NY”. The album was produced by OZZY OSBOURNE himself and Kevin Churko who had worked on the rocker’s previous album. In the recording of ‘Scream’ there guitarist Gus G, bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboard player Adam Wakeman took part.
The 18-month tour in support of the new album started in July with shows in England and continues in Europe. So, on the 13th of September in DS “Megasport” na Hodynskom Pole, all Russian fans of “the Great and Terrible” OZZY OSBOURNE will be able to hear the songs from ‘Scream’ and also well-known old hits.
