Four years after the 'Glory of Chaos' album, the US metal legends HELSTAR is back with their new studio album titled 'This Wicked Nest'. In their new album, HELSTAR gives us a real Metal album like always this time with some Speed and Thrash metal elements. James Riviera's voice is very, very good and as always is one of the strong points of the band. The powerful guitars of Larry Barragan & Rob Trevino are one of the highlights of the album. The best tracks in my opinion are the classic HELSTAR tracks ‘Fall of dominion’ and ‘This wicked nest’, the “modern” ‘Defy the swarm’, ‘Eternal black’ and the instrumental ‘Isla De Las Munecas’ a tracks which is written by Larry Barragan and Jeff Loomis (ex-NEVERMORE).
Conclusion: For sure 'This Wicked Nest' will not disappoint the HELSTAR fans and also it is a good album for all the classic metal fans.
