Review Flash
UK based Groove Metal band SIX SINS TILL SUNDAY was formed in 2012. The guys have played quite a bit of gigs in good old England and sound like a mix of MOTÖRHEAD and post ‘Cowboys from Hell’ PANTERA. Vocalist Chris Newman’s voice is not of the soft and fragile kind, he shouts, barks and growls his way through the songs (sounding best when he shouts, can’t stand being reminded of Lemmy). The six-string department is a tight unit fully capable of ripping your head right off while Harwood massacres the drumkit with a malice I can only call... angry (but rhythmically always on point). Westwood on bass takes no chances but is always audible and manages to further bulking up the already thick and heavy guitar sound.
Conclusion: If you like your Metal groovy but without too much hooks or elegance (rough as the literal fuck) check out SIX SINS TILL SUNDAY
