At this moment in time it is hard for me to say nice things about the Lone Star State but it IS a nice thing to have a pretty cool Doom Metal band like THUNDER HORSE! The first thing that I realize is that the musical mixture played by these guys is not purely Doom but more of a melange of different related genres. There is Doom (‘Halfway to Hell’), Stoner (‘Dear Mr. Fantasy’), Grunge that mixes with Classic Rock (‘Remembrance’) and even a folky bit (‘Texas’). Not one of these songs limits itself to only one of these mentioned genre pieces and that is what makes this really entertaining to listen to. Stephen Bishop on vocals is a pretty dope choice as he can vibe with any mentioned direction a song of THUNDERHORSE might take. If you need music that is never boring, not even for a moment: this is for you!
Conclusion: Classic Rock +Doom + Grunge + Folk = THUNDER HORSE!
