The second day of the festival began early in the morning with a group photo of many of the visitors directly at the Baltic Sea. It was really a great idea and a nice sight. Musically, the second festival day began three hours earlier than the first. That means almost eleven hours of nonstop music for the fans!

After a long break the Plage Noire festival once again takes place! Finally again, there is a place in the festival calendar for Plage Noire. It was last held in 2009 and this year it was bigger and more professional than ever before. It took place in the holiday park Weißenhäuser Strand.

Talk about home game: Industrial pioneers DIE KRUPPS returned to their home town Düsseldorf to celebrate 38 years of band history in the lovely zakk venue. They were bringing reinforcements in the form of two bands BARABAZ and JOHNNY DEATHSHADOW to make this a special evening.

David Hasselhoff - 30 Years “Looking For Freedom”
DAVID HASSELHOFF and Germany - wasn’t there a running joke in Anglo-Saxon countries? Well, “THE HOFF” isn’t quite the superstar here as you might think if you are American but he is star enough to play a series of shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to celebrate 30 years of his biggest hit ‘Looking For Freedom’. The anniversary is actually next year but he tours it already, anyway. And we were at his show in Oberhausen, anyway.
