Mando Diao - World Tour - Support: Razz
Last Tuesday night, in the immediate vicinity of a Football Champions league game, the long-lost BEATLES impersonators from Sweden, MANDO DIAO, chose the newly opened venue Phoenixhalle in Dortmund as the second leg for their current world tour, and the reinvented, rusty plant building offered the fitting background for quite a remarkable evening.

The Mission & Holygram
It was absolutely no surprise that the show on 9th November at the Zeche in Bochum was a sellout. Legendary act THE MISSION, who work musical wonders since their 1986 debut ‘God's Own Medicine’, were in town to take their truly passionate fans on an exciting trip across their discography. It was “back in 1984” that Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams were playing here the last time. And when the vocalist asked the international crowd who had been there as well 33 years ago, almost everybody cheered and applauded making the front man laugh. Spirits were high that night, on and in front of the stage, the sound superb, and THE MISH’s music performed live simply stunning. The band took us on a sonic stroll through the ‘Garden of Delight’ and after walking the ‘Wasteland’ we were eventually ‘Coming Home’ - what a delightful evening with THE MISSION, what a ‘Deliverance’!

Schiller - “Klangwelten Live 2017 - Pure Electronic”
German electronic artist SCHILLER is touring currently with his “Klangwelten” program. After his celebrated 2016 arena tour, SCHILLER started his new tour through Germany and Switzerland under the motto “Klangwelten Live 2017 - Pure Electronic” and also stopped in the quite small theatre in Gütersloh. Germany’s number one electronic artist played his dreamy instrumental sounds among others at the philharmonic hall in Munich, at the Gewandhaus Leipzig or at the old opera in Frankfurt. “Klangwelten Live 2017”, that’s instrumental classics from eighteen years of SCHILLER, pulsating rhythms and artfully arranged spherical sounds. http://www.schillermusic.com / https://www.facebook.com/schillermusic

Alice Cooper
Last Saturday evening, the Königspalast (“Royal Palace”) in Krefeld turned into ALICE COOPER’s personnel palace of nightmares and madness. The infield of the Königspalast was almost full, only on the stands were still some gaps left. COOPER himself had announced the evening as an “evening full of nightmares and insanity”.

Solar Fake, JanRevolution
“Trick or Treat” was the motto of a very special All Hollow’s Eve show taking place at the Kulttempel in Oberhausen this October. The “temple” with its huge sacral paintings spared neither trouble nor expense to vamp up their already atmospheric venue with more spook-tacular decorations: a zombie corpse greeted the visitors at the entrance, there were dead leaves spread on the ground, various huge skeletons at the brick masonry, a cut off head in a cage and other bloody body parts hanging from the ceiling. Some folks even dressed up for the occasion; no too carnivalesque costumes, but definitely some creative make-up, extravagant hairstyles and accessories. Girls, guys and ghouls were lured to the cult-y venue's Halloween show and after-party. Looking back, three things can be noted: Firstly, no tricks were played at all. In fact, and secondly, we all were in for a real treat.
