Fiddler‘s Green & My Flint
After a long break, a weekend with FIDDLER’S GREEN was on my way. On two consecutive days I could enjoy the music of the six musicians who are an absolute highlight again and again, if one may experience them in clubs. And just for their jubilee tour they showed that they have not forgotten anything in twenty-five years as a band and still get all the rooms for sweating. So I was prepared to dance, sing and celebrate the whole night.

Kasematten Festival 2015 Day 2: Seelennacht, MRDTC, Harmjoy, Robert Enforsen (The voice of Elegant Machinery), Chrom, Torul, S.P.O.C.K & Apoptygma Berzerk
Of course we survived day one. Feeling cold but still being amazed be the lovely look and atmosphere of the cave we left my grandma after having some coffee out of her most amazing cups. Yes, she’s collecting cups and put out the really pretty ones and the pretty can just because she liked my colleague Susann that much. Okay, this information has nothing to do with music or the festival itself, but it was just so cute how overly worried she was about us, if we feel comfy and if we were dressed warm enough for another day in the cave.

Kasematten Festival 2015 Day 1: Model Kaos, Formalin, Eklipse, Tyske Ludder, Hocico, Diary of Dreams
Halberstadt is a small town in the east part of Germany and is not really known for scene music. When I was younger, I used to live in a village near there and to be honest – the only scene things happened like 90minutes away in Magdeburg.

Anathema
“Resonance - A Celebration of the entire History of ANATHEMA Music (featuring special guests Duncan Patterson and Darren White)” was the motto of the evening and many fans came to see the sold-out show. The concert was divided into three parts with short breaks in order to present the band’s musical repertoire of its career that already spans 25 years. Starting with its actual style back to the early days. And so it is understandable that there was no supporting act.

Seigmen
In Norway everybody is talking about SEIGMEN these days! After nearly eighteen years, a great new album is published on April 13th called ‘Enola’. In March came a tremendous black and white SEIGMEN book with pictures made by the amazing Norwegian photographer Bjørn Opsahl including a gentle and deeply interesting biography written by Arvid Skancke-Knutsen, a well-known Norwegian music journalist. To celebrate the comeback of SEIGMEN the museum of pop-music, Popsenteret, in Oslo dedicated a whole floor to the band. The exhibition is called “Seigmen 1992 – 2014”, showing the history of SEIGMEN through articles, some band equipment and interviews of Alex Møklebust and Bjørn Opsahl which were filmed a few weeks ago. In a red room, really beautifully arranged, are shown some of Bjørns fantastic live pictures and band portraits.
