Schneewittchen
On this hot July day, we went on the way to see SCHNEEWITTCHEN with their eccentric show accompanying the release of the new album ‘Perlen vor die Säue’ in the Ampere club in Munich. Singer Marianne Iser and songwriter Thomas Duda are forming the duet SCHNEEWITTCHEN hailing from Hannover. The group was founded in 1995 in Hildesheim. Their music is a mixture of chanson, pop and rock. At the beginning of their career they performed mostly in cabarets, but however, during the course of time their music and their show became visibly too hard for it. www.schneewittchenmusik.de

Devilside Festival 2010 Devil Stage: Airbourne, Amon Amarth, Danko Jones, Zebrahead, Snapcase, Mad Sin, Mr. Irish Bastard, DevilDriver, Neaera, Failed Perfection, V8 Wankers
The second edition of the Devilside festival was up on this Sunday and on two stages the attendees would get to see a mixed bag of artists; newcomers just as big names. This time admission was handled quite quickly when we arrived and soon we could get an overview of the university campus where the festival was set to take place. I was sceptic as to how this would be enough space to hold all the attendees but we would see. The day kicked off at the Devil Stage with the guys of V8 WANKERS.

2nd July 2010
Slayer, The Haunted
When we set out to see SLAYER in Herford, the question bothering us first and foremost was if there actually would be any concert to see. Last time we went to Bochum the show was being cancelled on short notice due to health-related issues of Tom Araya. This time however the show seemed to happen and after us returning from getting fluid refreshment, the doors of the club already had opened.

Ostbayernhalle Rieden/Kreuth (65km east of Nuremberg), Germany
29th April to 1st May 2010Ragnarök Festival Day 1: Thormesis, Imperium Dekadenz, Grailknights, Arkona and Belphegor
Thanks to modern navigation technology, we arrived in Rieden/Kreuth at the right location after a drive of over five hours. Beforehand, the organization team announced that parking and camping would be at separate locations, which was well managed by the staff. The overall handling of the visitors improved very much compared to the last (and sadly next) year’s Lichtenfels. Fortunately, the ways from one location to the other were short and we made our way to the camping ground to put up the tents. After the car had been unpacked, the next task was to get the wristband which turned out be one of many since we got extra wristbands for camping and showering.
