WETO “live in concert”
WETO is a resurrected project of Thomas Lindner (vocals SCHANDMAUL), Martin Duckstein (guitar SCHANDMAUL), Matthias Richter (bass SCHANDMAUL), Stefan Brunner (drummer SCHANDMAUL), and Heiner Jaspers (keyboard REGICIDE). WETO was founded in 1993 as a punk rock band. The main thought of the band is still alive, but the changes of the members during the years also changed the way WETO are presenting themselves on stage. This new aspects of WETO offered their members the change to play with the dark side of music, in their lyrics and live on stage.

CombiChrist, Reaper, Northborne
Underground frequncies managed to get CombiChrist back to the Netherlands after his very succesful show last year at Summer Darkness. Eventhough the downtown area where the venue is situated, was struck by a power outage of 3 hours, the bands still managed to get ready for the concert in time. Some 500 people therefore could just enter in time and get ready for this only Dutch show in the European tour of CombiChrist.

29 & 30 March 2007
Kamelot, Leaves’ Eyes, Fairyland
A good package of bands can make the difference between a totally packed venue and just an ordinary, mediocre concert. Not that the last thing ever happened with Kamelot. When they come to Europe, they always have a fan base that easily can fill up a venue like De Boerderij. This time it is different. Leaves’ Eyes returns to Europe after their long tour with Blind Guardian. When two bands are missed for a long time, it is not a surprise that both shows are totally sold out. It will be everything than ordinary, that’s for sure!

Schandmaul
For almost ten years now this band from Munich has been combining folk music with rock music. Next year they will give a huge concert in Munich to celebrate this. There was quite an audience waiting outside the venue when I arrived. I heard a lot of German speech around me. Since Arnhem is so close to the border this was to be expected of course. The concert wasn’t sold out but it was extremely warm already inside so that was for the better. With all the dancing and singing along the temperature could only rise throughout the evening.

Bob Dylan
On Saturday, 5th April I took the chance to visit a show of BOB DYLAN, one of the greatest and most famous singer and songwriter of the last century. In the last five decades Robert Allan Zimmerman - better known as the legendary BOB DYLAN - had released 44 albums and played thousands of concerts all over the world, some of his songs were sung at countless campfires and his name is a synonym for a whole style of music. His latest album release is called ‘Modern Times’ and was released last year. http://www.bobdylan.com/ / http://www.myspace.com/bobdylan
