Our guest today is Antman, living in California and playing guitar in the Hard Rock band FAILURE BY PROXY. The band is using the current time of crisis for working on a new record. Many shows were cancelled or moved. The band was supposed to play with AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE in May, but those shows are cancelled. Still they have big Vet-Traxx festival in October where they will be playing with FLAW and JAMES DURBIN (American Idol). We have used the possibility and time to speak with Antman about his tattoos.

The situation with COVID-19 has currently changed our lives, we cannot travel, we cannot go to concerts, but we still found the possibility to move on with our project. Our guest today comes from Finland. Ville Miinala is the drummer of MORS SUBITA, a Modern Melodic Death Metal band, and of the Black Metal band THYRANE. MORS SUBITA has released their last album, ‘Into the pitch black’, on 1 June 2019 and on 21 June 2019, Out Of Line has released ‘Human Waste Collection’, a re-release of all three albums of the band with two more unreleased tracks. On the Synth scene in 2019 everything was as usual: many releases with high-quality sound, interesting new projects appeared and the way of many musicians of creating music is becoming more and more sophisticated, ornate and not regular. As usual grandees continue to parasitize on their already irritating sound, but old forgotten and suddenly returned projects sometimes surprise with new features and fresh sound. In general, the Synth scene has been on the same level for several years and produces quite a good number of good albums a year.- Details

A lot of young interesting Post Punk bands have appeared in the guitar dark scene in the year 2019. Their music more and more often take high places in the top lists (in fact, not only mine) and regularly get on the list of best debuts. The Gothic Rock part also does not stay behind: bands, that have already broken through in the scene, do not allow young artists to relax and new projects raise the level higher and higher. In the field of the Neue Deutsche Härte everything looks worse. In the genre as a whole there is a tendency to move towards regular Hard Rock with Heavy Metal in German using rare electronic samples.
