BLACKCENTR started out in the California industrial scene in 2008. And with their debut album, ‘Disease’, their popularity grew internationally. I can see why! Don't ask how! Just know! The first track, ‘I Kill’, is amazing with its powerful electronic beats and hard hitting lyrics. ‘I Kill’ is more then just a tune, it’s like melting intoxication that spills deeply into your subversive veins! If killing something can be pleasurable then this is the tune to use when doing it! The next tune, ‘Temptation’, has a really interesting buzzing sound effect with other experimental rifts that sound like poetic waves of electronic symmetry. Half way through the tune the really incredible lyrics start, “do we feel powerful, how we love to play our games”. The lyrics are intense and perfectly fit this tune.
The first ‘I Kill’ remix has been done by the one and only AESTHETIC PERFECTION and it sinks its teeth even deeper into the wounds making killing even more seductive which is something I didn't think was possible. WOW! The next remix by STARMACHINE is really different then the original tune but just as interesting and very energetic and dance-able. The tune has been sped up and twisted out of proportion but the effect is exciting and recreates the tune and turns it into spliced pieces of fleshy industrial carnage! Kill me now! Kill me and thrill me! A fast death! The last remix has been done by POLLUTED AXIS and is a lot darker and more Gothic then the first two remixes. Its like a tutorial about loosing control. It is really interesting to see 3 different remixes taken from different angles making this a truly incredible tune to experiment with. This CD delivers what it promises, the killing blow! Get it and join in on the fun!
