Album Review
NACHTMYSTIUM is a Black Metal Band from the USA, this August they released their 7th studio record. The sound of NACHTMYSTIUM is based on second wave Black Metal featuring some influences from experimental and psychedelic music, this gives them their own identity. I have not listened too much of their albums yet, but what I am hearing on ‘The World we left behind’ sounds very interesting. I played the record many times before I wrote the first letter of this review, the music always captures me when I am listening to it. Some parts are very progressive, some very melodic which bring some kind of warming into the cold black metal. Parts of the guitar work are very simple which does not mean that they are boring, no this is very complex in its whole. Even after hearing it a dozen times it is still interesting. For open minded Black Metal fans and all the others who like it hard and melodic without plastic shit.
