Wow! I didn´t expected that kind of quality by another German Rock´n´Roll band than MAD SIN within the last years, but SPITFIRE taught me. This band is playing “Kick Ass Rock'n'Roll“ …and they´re ruling it! Straight Hard Rock meets Rockabilly, Metal and Southern Rock, so they say on their website and they´re quite right. That kind of style is so refreshing without being really “innovative” …and that somehow is the clue. Those guys succeed in merging the several styles of pure Rock´n´Roll into something new. The songs are neat and the delight in playing music that is working on the release as well as live is so perceptible. It´s THE album for a hot summer, cruising through the streets, while putting the arm around your baby! There´s only one word for those guys: Awesome!
