Archive & Supersonic Orchestra
It’s been 16 years that the ARCHIVE project started around Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths in 1994. Together with the female singer Roya Arab and the young rapper Rosko John, the band released their first album ‘Londinium’ on Island Records in 1996. But ARCHIVE was doomed to break up the same year due to internal problems. The bands reformation, however, came to pass already in 1997 with an altered line-up surrounding Keeler and Griffiths with which they recorded and released the follow-up ‘Take My Head’ in 1999 which in hindsight is described by the band as their least favourite.

George Michael
Millions of fans have waited for these news: George Michael will return to stage with an unusual show – “Symphonica: The Orchestral tour”. Five years ago, George Michael was the last time in Germany with his sold out "25live" tour. As one of the most successful and most popular singers of Great Britain he wants to present a show like you have never seen him before. Next to a few songs of his own he wants to sing some of his favourite songs from other artists. All songs arrangements will be played by the Symphonica Orchestra, something interesting to look forward to.

Bush, Evaline
BUSH are back and with their latest album ‘The Sea of Memories’ they prove their post-grunge sound didn’t got lost over the years. I loved them in the past and lost the focus towards the band over the last years. But hearing they are back playing live in my region made me jump for joy and I was eager to see them finally for the first time live on stage. Read below if they could fulfil my high expectations…

Sinner’s Day 2011 - Side Stage: Blancmange, Gene Loves Jezebel, Recoil, Visage, Diamanda Galas, Karl Bartos
The huge stage of the Ethias arena was split into three parts: a big one in the middle as main stage and two small ones at the sides forming the side stages, which had a great program to offer as well. For example there was KARL BARTOS, former member of legendary electronic robots of KRAFTWERK, brining some electronic wizardry and one or the other surprise. Talking about surprises, probably the biggest one came in shape of Alan Wilder's RECOIL who after the acclaimed past performances in Germany was going to cater for a mesmerising performance and a highlight of the festival. With DIAMANDA GALAS, one of today’s divas was present as well. But the concerts at the side stages and the festival in whole was offered by legendary BLANCMANGE followed by GENE LOVES JEZEBEL, who replaced THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS and more or less JOHN FOXX at once, who both had to cancel their appearance.

Jean Michel Jarre
JEAN MICHEL JARRE has written music history. Not only with the music itself, 'Oxygene' for instance, but with the whole live setting. On every single of the shows he's performing he's creating a live spectacle incorporating laser elements, making it a visionary experience. Also. He's holding various live records and it is doubtful that any other modern musician could come up with a similar history. You need an example? There you go: More than 2 million people attended his show on occasion of the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. In this year's November, JEAN MICHEL JARRE embarks on a tour of Germany and two dates within the Ruhr area were on his schedule, one of which we were a part of in Dortmund. http://www.jeanmicheljarre.com/ / https://www.facebook.com/jeanmicheljarre
