Combichrist, Mortiis, Amnistia
‘Straight to Hell’, the title of the hit by German power metal band RAGE would be a suitable signboard at the entrance of the club that day, although “hell” in the finest sense of the word which mostly meant the crowd raving during the event. But it’s to describe everything in succession. Thus, on the 19th of February at Tochka club, Moscow there gathered three interesting mostly electronic projects promising an excellent show that was opened by AMNISTIA.

European Killfest: Overkill, Destruction, Heathen, After All
It was a nice evening in early spring, and shortly before the doors would open, many fans had already gathered in front of the Batschkapp wearing typical 80s style vests or OVERKILL shirts. At around twenty minutes before the actual beginning, the first act of the evening hit the stage.

Blitzmaschine, Mortiis and Combichrist
With the concert in Berlin, the gig took place at a venue being too small for Bands like MORTIIS and COMBICHRIST. It was one of just seven concerts within the still running “Making-Monsters-Tour” through Europe. But the Germans were lucky. Nearly all concerts and some festivals within this tour here in Germany are at the weekends. Not like in Scandinavia or Eastern Europe. Anyway, BLITZMACHINE is playing only in Germany…

Well, there’s a new album and of course this has to be supported by a tour, but in case of KIM WILDE people are not coming for the new songs only; they’re, apart from having a good time, there to reminisce with the big catalogue of hits she has just as well. This time they came to the little part of Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle, where the show was going down.

The Sisters of Mercy
THE SISTERS OF MERCY are a living legend and one of the most famous bands of the world. Their music, a highly original synthesis between Punk, Rock and Pop is said to be the beginning of Dark Rock. THE SISTERS consist actually of Andrew Eldritch (vocals), Chris Catalyst and Ben Christo (guitars) and Doktor Avalanche, probably the world’s most famous drum computer.
