After I was so much excited about the new BLACKFIELD album ‘Welcome To My DNA’, my very first of BLACKFIELD, I was more than keen on seeing the band live and on 25th April they were playing a show at Matrix Bochum. Even though the show wasn’t totally sold-out the venue was quite packed that evening. Seems like I underestimated the band’s popularity.

The Human League, (We Are) Performance

THE HUMAN LEAGUE, legendary and groundbreaking Synth Pop pioneers of the 1980s, made their live reunion a couple of years ago and proved that their are still a force to be reckoned with. In winter 2007, they returned to the road with a pretty unusual concept: the ‘Dare!’ tour, named after THE HUMAN LEAGUE’s most critically acclaimed and most successful album from 1981! As unorthodox it is to focus a tour an 26 year old album, the fans truly looked forward to this special event.

Covenant, Patenbrigade:Wolff, Decoded Feedback

After years, COVENANT returned to play songs of their new album ‘Modern Ruin’. It’s been 8 years they hadn’t played a show in Dresden. I was happy myself when I heard about ‘Mordern Ruin’ and even happier when I got the CD in my hands to put it in my player. Well, I couldn’t joint their show last year at AMPHI festival, so I was highly exited to see COVENANT live at the Reithalle. The audience was dancing and dreaming to new songs like ‘Lightbringer’ and were celebrating older songs such as ‘Stalker’ after they were warmed up by support acts DECODED FEEDBACK and PATENBRIGADE:Wolff

COVENANT are pretty much on the road all the time and worldwide but in late April 2011 the band embarked on a 6-date headlining tour in Germany with support acts PATENBRIGADE:WOLFF and DECODED FEEDBACK as part of their ongoing “Modern Ruin” tour. A package which was not to be missed for RoD!
