Thrash and Burn Tour: DevilDriver, Despised Icon, Emmure, Oceano, Thy Will Be Done
California, the state of sunshine and heat, everything else pretty much tries its best to make itself known some way or another. There is one thing that California is grateful to have though, which is music. This isn't your average music let me tell you, this music will surely drive you over the edge of destruction. One act that has given their rights and dedication to creating music has given California a favour by being asked to fill in as the headliners for the second annual “Thrash and Burn Tour 2009”. DEVILDRIVER has been together for sometime now releasing upon the masses four albums to date and shall not be forgotten not by a long shot.

Backstage Open 2009 Day 2: This is the Arrival, Deck Chair Orange, Enno Bunger, Anajo, Slut
Stretched on that what would expect me on this second day of the Backstage Open, I went to Munich. Unfortunately, at the beginning at 7:00 PM, it seemed even less people were there than the day before and it struck that these were primarily very young listeners.

Amphi Festival 2009 Day 2 Main Stage: Front 242, Unheilig, Hocico, Saltatio Mortis, Diorama, Delain, Panzer AG, Mono Inc.
When we were looking out of our hotel window on the morning of the second festival day it was heavily pouring down. It looked bad for the day first but luckily it turned out much better than expected again with only very short slight showers. So, there was nothing keeping you away from watching bands such as FRONT 242 or one of my personal faves DIORAMA on the outdoor stage.

Gothic Festival 2009 Day 1: And One, Vomito Negro, Diary of Dreams, Zeromancer, KMFDM, Noisuf-X, Rotersand, Ashbury Heights, Santa Hates You, FabrikC, Psy’Aviah, Twenty Six Tears
For the fourth time, the Black Cave crew invited to Waregem’s Gothic Festival and Reflections of Darkness followed the call again. It is always a big pleasure for us to be part of this small festival with its familiar and friendly atmosphere and a usually great line-up. This year’s billing also had great names like Sunday’s headliner GARY NUMAN to offer. The first festival day was highlighted by performances of AND ONE, VOMITO NEGRO, DIARY OF DREAMS and several great bands more.

I Am Ghost
What makes a live album? Well you need a stage, a band, sound equipment, what else is missing? Perhaps maybe an audience to watch the show as it slowly forms to become something big and exciting for everyone. So you go off and post numerous flyers and posters and go tell your friends, family, grandparents, teachers oh wait it’s the summer but isn’t there summer school in the mists… Well anyway once all of this is said and done that do all you need to do right? Wrong! Once that is all taken care of a live proportion is need to be put into place right, right so turn on the live equipment and let’s get things started. At least that’s how it went down at the hot and steamy Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California.
