Second day of the Birthday Celebration! MESH as headliners of the second festival day were returning to their self-proclaimed favourite German venue and they were performing some new songs during their set on Saturday. DE/VISION was crashing in Krefeld as well to celebrate their 20th anniversary with one of their electronic sets, presenting a representative cross section throughout their complete discography.

On the 20th of March it was time: The Munich based Pagan-Folk group FAUN came within the scope of their unplugged programme to Abensberg's Kreuzgang - a part of the former Karmelitenkloster. The concert was sold out.

Testament, Megadeth and Judas Priest
Tonight we have been preparing for a rough evening containing Heavy Metal in it’s purest form with Testament, Megadeth and Judas Priest. Once we’ve arrived at the HMH we’d come to the conclusion that it has already began. Opening hour 19.30 the ticket announced but less is true. Unfortunately Testament has already started their show at 18.45. To bad because we really wanted to see them after the impression of Chuck we had at the Christmas Metal Symphony at the end of last year.

If you were a teenager in the 1980s, you should know DIRK DARMSTAEDTER as the front man and lead singer of the German formation THE JEREMY DAYS. At the end of that decade, the five guys from Hamburg hit the charts with singles such as `Brand New Toy´, `Are you inventive´ and `Rome wasn’t built in a Day´. The passionate musician and talented songwriter DIRK DARMSTAEDTER, who was born in 1965 and grew up in the USA, released his first solo recording `Me and Cassity´ in 1997. In 2002, he founded the label TAPETE RECORDS he also published his upcoming albums at. Since 6th March 2009, his recent long-player `Life is no Movie´ has been available.
