A_liFe [Divided], Samsas Traum, Oomph!
Oomph! are everywhere in these days. They got into the album charts with their latest album “Glaube Liebe Tod” and they attracted even more attention with their single “Gott ist ein Popstar”. Some so-called moralists felt forced to press the censorship stamp on it. For the last concert of their tour on German ground they chose the LKA and the masses made a pilgrimage to the location. This was quite interesting. Some people are obviously standing by the band for years and there were many new fans, which lowered the age average considerably.

Madball, The Rasmus, Lacuna Coil, Chimaira
Time for another edition of Dauwpop with acts from all over the world. For instance Lacuna Coil all the way from Italy and Madball from New York. With a little rain but mostly dry weather it was an excellent festival day.

Sonata Arctica, Doro, Altaria
When arriving at the Boerderij, Zoetermeer, I noticed that a lot of fans had already gathered in front of the Boerderij, dying to get in. It was Sonata Arctica who had attracked most of the fans this night. I, myself, am really looking forward to seeing Doro. I have never seen her perform live, but I heard some great stories about it. Time is check it out...

Day 2: Pavlov's Dog, Ray Davies, Dio, Def Leppard, Queensrÿche, Roger Waters
The second day of the festival it seemed like many of the visitors had just come to see the main act of today: Roger Waters. Of course one of the highlights of the festival but there were more bands on stage worth a visit; experienced bands like Dio, Status Quo got the crowd going. Warming them up for the grand finale, 3 hours of Pink Floyd and solo work of mr. Waters.

Day 1: John Waite, Ted Nugent, Uriah Heap, Whitesnake, Status Quo, Journey, Deep Purple
It was a very suny day when the first day of this year's two day Arrow Rock Festival. The program was loaded with all those classic bands that either haven't been in the Netherlands for a very long time or bands that drag in a lot of fans. A huge traffic jam towards the parking place did mean some bands had to be skipped but there were still plenty left to review.
