Janosch Moldau - “The darkness in art isn’t always bad. It’s a way to resist the darkness inside of you.”
JANOSCH MOLDAU, a Dark-Pop artist from Germany, has long held a prominent place in the electronic dark scene. A person who plays such minor music in shaded clubs actually knows how to remain a positive person. So, for many years, Janosch managed to combine melancholy with the healing of the soul in his art. At the moment, he plans to release an EP. The other day we talked about this upcoming CD (it romantically comes with the spring), discussed his touring projects, problems in the music industry, future plans, his attitude toward fashion music and much more.

I first met them - and saw them live - in Wroclaw during one of the Batcave Productions events, late in 2022, and I must say their show was a blast: vibrating, engaging, boiling with incredible energy, it caught my attention on the spot. But about a bit of history first: Italian Shoegaze, Post-Punk and Psychedelic Rock band CLUSTERSUN formed in 2013, bringing together a group of friends who shared a passion for creating music that delivered “massive walls of fuzz, otherworldly reverberations, and psychedelic trips”.

NER\OGRIS is a band that’s been making waves with the release of their latest album, ‘I Am The Shadow, I Am The Light’. Their eclectic sound has captured the attention of many, and it’s not hard to see why. From the inspiring sonic elements to the diverse range of genres, this album is a true gem. I had the pleasure of sitting down with kaiN and tinoC to discuss their music, their inspirations, and what makes their sound so unique. In our conversation, they shared their journey of how they formed their band, their approach to music-making, and the experiences that have shaped their music. We also delved into the inspiration behind the album’s title and the stories behind some of the tracks. It was an insightful and inspiring conversation, and I’m excited to share their story with you.

Krischan Wesenberg, a producer, DJ, master engineer known for live-mixing and cooperation with such giants as NITZER EBB, FRONT 242, COVENANT, L'ÂME IMMORTELLE, or ROTERSAND to name just a few agreed to answer a few questions about his work, tour life, approach to life and music, a distinction between success and quality, and what, in his view, good music is all about. Quite a fascinating and enlightening journey, indeed.
