Founded in 1980, GRAVE DIGGER has always been one of the most important and successful German metal bands and a guarantee of classical and straight heavy metal at its best. GRAVE DIGGER are going to release their latest album ‘Ballads of a Hangman’ on 9th January. The critics, who are responsible for reviews concerning ‘Ballads of a Hangman’ have already commented the album enthusiastically and praised it as a powerful and brilliant piece of music that should live up the fans’ expectations.

A couple of weeks we reported about the survey of the Side-Line magazine, where you could vote the best record label and magazines of 2008. Our magazine also was on the list which was a really big surprise for us. Well, the survey now has ended and the results have been published today. We’re happy to announce we actually made it into the top 5, more specifically #5.

With a fantastic line-up for Rock Aficionados, Germany’s most popular Open-Air Festivals Rock am Ring & Rock im Park will come up in 2009. More than 20,000 Ring and Park rockers already used the early-bird discount in presale without even knowing the line-up. But now the line-up of the multiday event at the Nürburgring and in Nürnberg takes great shape. The fans can experience - from 5th to 7th June 2009 - on three stages the most important bands of the modern and alternative rock music live.
