The highly-anticipated 10-Track debut of the Industrial/EBM duo SIVA SIX was released in November 2005 and provides a brilliant and top-notch production with a combination of shaking dark industrial, dance floor EBM and dark electro. With the club hits ‘Streetcleaner’, ‘120 Days’, or ‘Nihil before me’, they painted futuristic and claustrophobic sound portraits and with them created an own ascetic musical world. The new re-mastered edition, containing an additional CD with remixes came out on 12th December 2008.
A new hymn is born. With their irresistible and razor-sharp beats, the lovely melodies, as well as its rebellious and thoughtful lyrics, the new single is going to conquer the dance floors and the listener’s hearts by storm. The single hits the streets on 23rd January 2009.
Yes, the sound has to be louder. Music and its visual design spread further and further through the internet. Between Youtube and Musicload, it’s not the quiet tones caressing the ears. It’s quite the opposite and the lads of the electro EBM formation DIGITAL FACTOR agree with this. On 23rd January 2009 they’re going to unleash their all new album ‘Look back to go forward’ which will leave you no time to rest.
On 23rd January, the German alternative rockers THE PUSSBATS release their highly-anticipated debut album ‘Famous last songs’ worldwide via Black Rain Records. It was produced by Chai Deveraux (known as guitarist of JESUS ON EXTASY). The duo Hahn & Hahn (e.g. NENA, KIM WILDE, FARMER BOYS and yes, actually - PUR) did it for the already released, rocking appetizer single ‘No Romeo’. The album marks a milestone in the band’s career and corresponding to this, a lot of work and heart’s blood was put in the production - besides the standard rock instrumentation e.g. a classic double-bass and with LEANDRA a guest singer and pianist can be heard.
"We are the Band from the Chocolate Land; we are the pride of Switzerland". This brilliant introduction implies an egocentric band, what’s confirmed by the bad with the new CD ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’. JESUS AND THE GURUS have for their audience a new musical surprise up their sleeves. An unprecedented harshness, aggression, cynicism and rage unavoidably permeates the listeners heads A big offensive of industrial (in the style of EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN or TEST DEPT), coupled with Metal (MINISTRY, RAMMSTEIN) and harsh electro (FEINDFLUG, NIN), which the band blends together to their own powerful sound storm.
