Pain, Brother Firetribe
“Music means EVERYTHING to me, it was the reason for two divorces; nevertheless it’s the most important thing I my life”, says 36 year old Peter Tägtgren, creative head of PAIN, already producing with the likes of CELTIC FROST, CHILDREN OF BODOM, DIMMU BORGIR and IMMORTAL. He’s amongst Sweden’s most respected producers and musicians. Tägtgren started his career as front man of the atmospheric Death Metal band HYPOCRISY, founded by him. In 1996, when he wanted to write music, more based on solid metal, he needed to ask himself if he wanted to change the style of HYPOCRISY for it. As the band in their genre was in a constant state of development, he opted against it and founded PAIN to be able to experiment with entirely different sounds.

The band discussed, which track would become the first single off the upcoming album and here’s the result of careful consideration: ‘Apollo (Live on Your TV)’. Next week, Stephan & Co are going to shoot the video clip for the single already. To lay down a successful shot, there are lots of things to take care of first: The location has to be chosen, the script must be checked and revised, lights and special effects will be clarified, tons of questions have to be answered, so you see a video clip shooting is no walk in the park. To get you in the right mood, we have a small film of the show on this year’s Hurricane Festival. Click here and see the band live on stage.More info at: http://www.apoptygmaberzerk.de / http://www.gunrecords.de
