Less than four weeks left till the 6th edition of the festival will take place and as we don't want to change everything, but want to be better in various aspects, we are telling you some improvements:
Like last year there will be a small viking village with some medieval exhibition fight, etc. Of course there will also be a merch tent in front of the city hall, where you can find food sales boothes, too. The Legacy Magazine will organize signing sessions in the small hall with almost every band. Of course we will keep our promises: On the camping ground and parking area will be more toiletts. One of our main targets is to improove the flow of information. That's why we're going to install a LCD projector in the small hall, which will display the latest version of the running order and the latest information on the festival. In addition to that there will be a information board with a map of Lichtenfels, railway timetable, etc. We also want to improve small details like the design of the notes with the running order on them. Keeping them up to date isn't the only thing we want to do, but we will also increase the readability.
We will set up a festival hotline for you, where you can contact the festivaloffice in case you hit special problems. The telephone number will be published within the next weeks.
As it has been animadverted quite often, we engaged a more professional security company for this year's festival.
Furthermore the camping area will be open earlier than last year. You can start putting up your tents on Thurstday, 16th of April on 17:00.
