With a fantastic line-up for Rock Aficionados, Germany’s most popular Open-Air Festivals Rock am Ring & Rock im Park will come up in 2009. More than 20,000 Ring and Park rockers already used the early-bird discount in presale without even knowing the line-up. But now the line-up of the multiday event at the Nürburgring and in Nürnberg takes great shape. The fans can experience - from 5th to 7th June 2009 - on three stages the most important bands of the modern and alternative rock music live. Without a doubt are THE KILLERS with their current album ‘Day & Age’ the musical protagonists of their time. The Nürburgring and the Zeppelin field are the stages for their exclusive festival performances. Same goes for PLACEBO, also coming up with a new CD as well as the US-Metalrock superstars SLIPKNOT, who just recently underpinned - on their completely sold-out tour - their absolute headlining qualities.

After the first electropop compilation is nearly sold-out, the bands of the next issue of the compilation are already set. Once more, there’ll be new bands to discover e.g. DYNAMIKK ROLLER DUO, EMMON, MARLOW, THE ULTRASONICS, DEZEPTION, RUBIKON or OSTRICH. The first new tracks can be heard as edits on the official electropop MySpace site. Also electropop.2 will be limited to 777 copies again.- Details

The time has finally come. After the 1984 cult album ‘The Peter Pan Effect’ Vince Clarke’s friend Robert Marlow together with Gary Durant finally releases his new album Inside Outside’. In Germany the album is going to be released on 31st January 2009 on Electro Shock Records and it was worth the long wait as ‘Inside Outside’ presents gem after gem for admirers of the analogue Synth Pop. Besides the 11 regular tracks, the German edition of the album includes two bonus tracks in the form of remixes of two album songs as well. One remix was crafted by no one less than Mr. Vince Clarke himself and these are the tracks making the new MARLOW album one of the ultimate highlights of 2009:- PARRALOX - deliver huge debut album
