At the end of 2003 the Band LOST AREA was founded. In the springtime of 2005 the EP ‘Gabriel’ was released which showed a remarkable musical range. LOST AREA achieved their goal: Driving beats and powerful synth layers alternated with more balladry tracks, crawling under the skin. The song ‘Painbringer’ developed to a real club hit. After numerous sampler contributions and several remixes for other bands the first regular long-player, entitled ‘Dare To Dream’ was released in November 2006. Packed with remixes of bands such as Blutengel, Cephalgy, Accessory and many others the album caused a stir. With the debut, LOST AREA continued their promising concept of “Electro Meets Emotion” and brought it to perfection. Already to that time their music had everything fans of challenging and modern Electro expected. LOST AREA also had been observed by the media. Amongst others RADIO ENERGY introduced the Band in their Morning Show as Newcomer 2007 and offered songs for downloading. Only a few hours later the songs had been downloaded more than 700 times. With regular chart placements in various internet radio stations like “Hazzard of Darkness”, the band proved they were not a One Hit Wonder. - Details

The title may be a little ‘misleading’ but it’s a song cycle, composed by Hildegard von Bingen in the 12th Century. The initially monophonic choral lines have now been reworked by BLACK WEDDING (Louis Zachert: all instruments, Arrangements and Francisca Vanherle: Vocals) and were put into a modern and yet ‘timeless’ costume. Nevertheless ’11.000 Virgins’ is anything than a mere club album, but an atmospheric release that will settle down in your CD player. Best enjoyed with a glass of red wine…- Details

Already one year after the much noticed debut “Der Tod und das Mädchen”, Dörte Flemming now presents her next long-player “…und wenn das Herz auch bricht” of her solo project BACIO DI TOSCA. Regardless of the short time between the releases, she presents a matured work about “Love in all its facets” with carefully selected lyrics of ancient poets like Heine, Storm or Joseph von Eichendorff. Where the debut sounded a little undecided at some points, this album now appears stylistically stable and impressively shows how god you can merge classical music and modern elements. Dörte Flemming knows how to connect these virtually contrasting elements to a single, dense composition to develop her own, distinct style. The aura of an opera-like voice is hovers again above the composition as a means to convey emotions in a very unique way.Source: Newsletter
