The dark side is often very luring… especially if it comes in form of catchy tunes with massive beats, like on the new album from German Electro-goths Cephalgy. It is titled “Herzschlag” and easily their most versatile endeavour so far, featuring strong stompers, such as the aptly-titled “Electroholic” or “Hass Mich”, alongside aggressive attacks (“Dunkelseele”), pulsating Dark-Electro-hits (“Königin”) and melodic Wave-anthems (“Müde.”) Cephalgy are driving their sound to the extremes without sacrificing their characteristically dark, yet catchy style. The unmistakable deep voice of Jörg G. is as intense as ever and the album is even more club-compatible than its predecessors. The limited first edition in Digipak will contain a bonus CD with four extra tracks plus four remixes. Join the Electroholics and dance with your darkness! Feel the heartbeat (=”Herzschlag!”). For this year’s instalment, we were able to bring together an especially exquisite line up. The headlining act will be the French Art-Electro-act Die Form, whose rare concerts are always very special and enthralling experiences. The band will not only be bringing along their strongest single to date - “Her(t)z Frequenz” is a smashing track that is going to catapult the group back into the clubs – but also a compilation of their best songs and classic material, in special all-new versions.

Einherjer Reunion at Ragnarök-Festival
For about four years you didn't hear anything from EINHERJER, one of the most important bands in viking metal, which splitted up in 2004. We're proud to announce their comeback will be next year at Ragnarök-Festival, which is a great chance for many metalheads to see their idols again or maybe for the first time. We hope that yet another great chapter will be added to the band's awesome history in April 2009 at Lichtenfels and hopefully many other shows will follow.
