The guessing might have come to an end now. Ben Hillier is reported to produce the next DEPECHE MODE album as well according to http://www.depeche-mode.com/ that refers to information from the band’s closer environment. Ben Hillier who already worked for U2, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, BLUR and ERASURE produced and mixed the last album ‘Playing The Angel’. Besides Ben Hillier also Christian Eigner, Andrew Phillpott, Sie Medway Smith and Kurt Uenala were named who are said to be involved in the works for the new album. Essex school friends Douglas McCarthy and Vaughan (Bon) Harris have joined up with Jason Payne (who played drums on the 1995 Nitzer Ebb album "Big Hit") to finish up the first new Nitzer Ebb record in over a decade. It's not the only familiar name that is popping up. The band also enlisted producer and notorious tea spiller Mark Ellis aka Flood.
