Nine Inch Nails is pleased to announce the expansion of the Ghosts project into the visual world. The band has teamed up with YouTube to host a "film festival" around Ghosts. The concept is for you to take whatever tracks you feel inspired by and create what you feel should accompany them visually. You will be able to see all of the submissions, and a team (including Trent) will be sorting through them and setting aside ones they feel are exceptional. Eventually (within a couple of months?) we hope to present a virtual "film festival" with Trent and some special guests presenting selections of your work.- Details

Moby’s new album is a winking time travel through almost 25 years of dance music history which plays unbiased with all styles on “Last Nights” and wraps it into a modern musical robe. The single “Disco Lies” pushes us back into the early 90s.Moby himself says: “I was in San Francisco in the early 90s and listened to DJs like Marc Farina. That was pretty interesting because the Dance Scene in New York was marked by a rather aggressive sound at that time. In New York either an older, softer House style or a pretty aggressive rave was played. In San Francisco, the sound was way more inspired by Disco styles. It was overall a bit softer and reminded me of the times in the clubs of New York in the early to mid 80s. There was this unique underground dance scene no one outside of Lower Manhattan was interested in. For me “Disco Lies” is reminiscing to the ‘Paradise Garage’ nights with Larry Levan or Tony Humphreys, who worked as DJs in that club “Zanzibar” in Newark. These songs, consisting of cold electronic elements, but with a passionate diva voice singing over it.

Eric Fish
ERIC FISH’s homes usually are the rock stages of our country as the fronter of SUBWAY TO SALLY. Here he presents a different side. Framed by candle light, accompanied by 3 friends on the piano and the acoustic guitar, he sits there and just plays his songs. Especially as his often last 3 hours and a sometimes thoughtful or funny but always deep unity between the four musicians and their mostly sitting audience is established.

With their debut „Out Of The Dark“ (2006), Finland’s dark rock crew Reflexion successfully managed to spread their infectious sound virus. Via their brand new album „Dead To The Past, Blind For Tomorrow“, Juha Kylmänen (vocals), Mikko Uusimaa (bass), Ilkka Jolma (guitar), Raymond Pohjola (drums), and Juhani Heikka (guitar) now passionately continue to conquest our ears. A long experience and remarkable song writing amalgamate with typical Finnish melancholy which results in an exciting listening adventure. The band’s early loves to acts like Metallica, Whitesnake, and AC/DC provides a fierily rocking kick throughout the tracks whilst Kylmänen showcase his varied vocals between bittersweet toughness and wistfulness. The outcome ensnares gothic people as much as alternative, pop or metal music listeners. - Preview AMPHI FESTIVAL - Cologne 2008
