Coming after The Birthday Massacre's third album, "Walking With Strangers", is the "Looking Glass" EP, the second single taken from the album. The EP is released while the band is preparing to embark on a North American tour with Mindless Self Indulgence. In addition to the title track, the EP contains mixes of "Red Stars," "Falling Down," and "Weekend," as well as two new tracks and a cover of the classic Ritchie Cordell written song "I Think We're Alone Now" that was a 1967 hit for American recording artists Tommy James & the Shondells and that was re-popularized 20 years later by Tiffany. Next to these there is also the video for "Looking Glass". Released on Metropolis and available from May 6th on. Source: Side Line Magazine

Wave Gotik Treffen 2008
Like every year on the Whitsun weekend Leipzig is flooded by thousands and thousands of people as it’s time for the Wave Gotik Treffen again. What once started in a venue called “Eiskeller” (Today Conne Island) with about 1.500 people has developed to an event with probably 20.000 visitors and still counting. Goths, Punks, Metal heads and so many others from all over Germany and beyond come together on that weekend to enjoy their favourite bands, have a chat with friends or visit one of the numerous events surrounding the festival because the Wave Gotik Treffen isn’t just about the music. It also offers a wide bandwidth of other social activities, so you can either go listening to a reading, visit a medieval market or a club and lots of other things. There will be something for everyone.

Good news for all UNHEILIG fans, as the count himself has made the next single a matter for the boss. Not without any reason. In an emotional and moving open letter the count approaches his fans with the plea to support the new single ‘An deiner Seite’ (All info will follow shortly) and the radio voting at the radio stations the best they can. It would be great if you could especially overwhelm the radio station “1Live” with your wishes, as the affected person from the song is based in the hearing area of the station and we’re sure it would be a big present if this person would be able to hear this song. Thanks in advance from the whole UNHEILIG team for the support. Here’s the link to the voting: Voting!

A shaman in the north of Norway once said to MILÙ: “You’re singing like the sea - silent and irascible.” The man couldn’t have found any better words. Only a few artists have the gift to scrape a moment of archaic vitality at the listener. Once the scrape is there, they cry, grin and walk out the door seemingly relaxed, just to come back again.

Following the confirmation of high-quality bands IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, WHITESNAKE and DEF LEPPARD, we are proud to add KISS to this year’s line-up!
KISS, the ‘Hottest Band in the World’, is the next in an impressive line of top acts that have graced the Graspop stage over the years. Founded in 1973 by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, KISS forced a worldwide breakthrough with their disco rock classic ‘I Was Made for Loving You’. In the years that followed, the extravagantly dressed foursome behind the masks grew into a formidable merchandising machine and the music occasionally appeared to be pushed to the background. Still, whenever KISS took the stage they did so in sold-out venues and stadiums in front of thousands of delirious fans.
