Influenced by bands from the German and UK electronic scene, Dirk Ivens (synths & voice) formed ABSOLUTE BODY CONTROL early 1980, and was joined by Mark de Jonghe (synths) and Veerle de Schepper (backing vocals). After releasing a track on the "Blitzpop 1" compilation and the release of their first 7" single "Is there an exit?" (1981), wich became a local underground hit, Mark leaves the band. Eric van Wonterghem, who was in fact a spectator at the first ABC concert, filled in the gap and became Dirk's new musical partner for years to come. Before they decided to go on as a duo, ABC already appeared on several compilation albums and tapes worldwide. Soon ABC became one of the first Belgian electronic acts who proved to be succesfull also on stage. In 1984 Dirk became a member of "The Klinik", followed by Eric who left after the 2nd album to form Insekt. - Details

The UNHEILIG show on 20th March 2008 in Hamburg is completely sold-out. For all UNHEILIG fans, who couldn’t get hold of a ticket for this show, we recommend to buy tickets for the shows in Osnabrück (14th March), Rostock (21t March) or in Berlin (30th March). Also for Magdeburg, Leipzig and Cologne are some tickets left. The tickets are available at all CTS/EVENTIM and TICKET ONLINE booking offices as well as at the box office.On 26th September 2008 the new UNHEILIG DVD with the title ‘Vorhang auf!’ will be released. It will be recorded at the concert on 30th March during the concert at the Columbia Hall in Berlin. Who wants to be eternalized on that DVD, should come to Berlin on 30th March 2008 and contribute his part to a great DVD. The DVD will include lots of bonus material and many recordings besides and around the concert in Berlin. So come to Berlin and celebrate with us. We count on you and your attendance. CURTAINS UP!!!

SEABOUND have a new live album coming up. On 25th April 2008 ‘Come Forward - Live in Berlin’ will b in stores. Singer Frank Spinath about the release: “Our live performances have become a more and more important part of SEABOUND over the years. The atmosphere during the concert in Berlin was real intimate and marked by a very personal mood. We’re happy; we could record it in a very good quality.” Almost simultaneously the band will play a tour together with in North America for three weeks starting in the middle of March.
