August 31st marks the official release of Emigrate's selftitled debut album on Motor Music. Emigrate is noone else but a gang led by Richard Kruspe, lead guitarist and founder member of German Industrial / Metal legends Rammstein. Emigrate originally began as a side-project of Kruspe's back in 2005, when Rammstein decided to take a year off from touring and recording. This self-titled debut album features Kruspe on vocals and guitar, Henka Johansson (of Clawfinger fame) on drums and Arnaud Giroux (of Axel Bauer) on bass and background vocals. On Friday September 21st, the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels (Belgium) will present the 3rd of a string of 3 Rewind Central concerts in which Belgian artists bring their most classic albums live. The 3rd band this year is Belgian new wave act The Neon Judgement who will bring their debut album "1981-1984" live in concert. Started in Leuven in 1981 by Dirk Da Davo and TB Frank the band briefly stopped performing in 1998, but reformed in 2004 and started playing live again to promote a series of remixes and rereleases of their material. Dirk Da Davo is also active with his side project Neon Electronics, for which he started his own record label Dancedelic-D.

Uglyface Marilyn Manson has been refused the entrance to the Cologne Cathedral, better known under the German name Kölner Dom. Manson who apparently keeps on looking like a drag all day long showed up covered in make-up, speaking of having some respect. Manson was in Cologne to attend the opening evening of his first European exhibition of his Marilyn Manson paintings. Mansom claims to have begun his career as a watercolor painter in 1999 when he made five-minute concept pieces and sold them to drug dealers. 40 pieces from his work have now traveled to Germany's Gallery Brigitte Schenk in Cologne to be publicly exhibited from June 28 until July 28, 2007. Critics are not really raving about the work which has already been described as being similar to works of a psychiatric patient given materials to use as therapy.Source: http://www.side-line.com/
