APOCALYPTICA will perform in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest Final as Special Guests (not in the actual competition). They will bring their trailblazing brand of metal to the show's final entertainment climax, blending old hits and previewing tracks from new album in an 8 minute medley. Classical sounds of Metallica and Sepultura beamed out to over a BILLION viewers!!!!!
The 2007 final continues along the direction the 2006 winners Lordi had previously marked out, promising fantasy, fun and rock. Lordi will also naturally participate in the event, opening the whole ceremony themselves with a live performance. The television broadcast this year will also witness some amazing real-time, slow-motion images which are incredibly rare in modern live broadcasting, and totally breathtaking.

After one of last year's highlights at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, the Jubilee Ball, Pink Turns Blue have thought something up again on the occasion of their new album GHOST. A two and a half hour show away from the turbulence of the ususal festival appearances, consisting of visuals, sound, light and shrill characters.
For the first time, Pink Turns Blue present themselves as a group of artists from a variety of disciplines.

The new album from the Smashing Pumpkings will be released on 7th July. Jonathan Cohen of Billboard.com reports that the band finalized the track listing for "Zeitgeist", their first album since 2000. The album is produced by mainman Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, with Roy Thomas Baker and Terry Date working separately on various tracks, and represents the culmination of two years of work.
