Hailing from Vancouver, BC (Canada) is Left Spine Down, a band bringing a mix of industrial, metal, punk and drum and bass. Interesting detail, the band features Jeremy Inkel and Jared Slingerland of industrial music legends Front Line Assembly and also Denyss McKnight the bass player of Vancouver Punk legends The Black Halos (who apparently reformed). The band has self released the "Smartbomb" EP this month. Produced by Front Line Assembly / Noise Unit's Chis Peterson and it is currently for sale on the bands Myspace page and also will be available on iTunes in the coming weeks. Assemblage 23 has completed a remix for the new electronic side-project of alternative rockers AFI. The project, made up of AFI members Davey Havok and Jade Puget is called Blaqk Audio and mixes elements of synthpop, electro, and EBM. Assemblage 23's remix of the track "Stiff Kittens" will appear on the single of the same name, which will precede the full length album "Cex Cells" on Interscope Records later this summer.Source: http://www.side-line.com/

Northamerican tour 2008LEAVES' EYES will tour USA and Canada together with KING DIAMOND, KREATOR and CELLADOR in March, April and May 2008.
Liv Kristine: "This will be our fourth tour in Northamerica and we`re really looking forward to another great adventure, joining KING DIAMOND, KREATOR and CELLADOR on the road. It's fantastic, this tour will give us the opportunity to play in front of new audiences in places we haven`t visited before. At this point of time we will hopefully be able to present new material of our upcoming album which is supposed to be released in 2008." Alex Krull: "That's a really awesome package! I have been listening to the music of KING DIAMOND and MERCYFUL FATE from the beginning and I find it very inspiring. And of course I know KING DIAMOND from the time when I was working for his European record company years ago. We've known Mille and KREATOR for many years; it will be fun to go on tour together, mates! It's crazy, this tour will take place in almost 10 months and the dates are already booked and announced. We are looking forward to meet all our friends & fans from the US and Canada again!"
