The line-up for the next year’s Amphi Festival is finalized. Just read what the promoter has to tell you: “Dear Amphi Family,
before we get into the nitty-gritty, we’d like to express our sincere gratitude for a little moment first: YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Thank you for the incredible number of positive responses, heartening words and all the positive energy you sent us. The decision to postpone the Amphi Festival from this year to 23 & 24 July 2022 was far from an easy one and we feel absolutely humbled to have such a great community supporting us - actually the best we could ever imagine!

This year’s festival is cancelled. Here is the statement of the organizer: “We didn’t want to admit it. A second year without you? A second year without a family reunion? Unthinkable! So, after the cancellation last year, we threw ourselves headlong into the preparations for the M’era Luna 2021, firmly inspired by the most beautiful M’era Luna that had ever existed. We got a tailwind from our artists, who without exception confirmed again, and you, who kept their tickets. The previous editions of W-Fest were taking place in August. Two years ago, the festival moved to the Expo in Waregem, an indoor venue, also taking place in August. Last year’s festival was planned for May for Waregem. Due to the Corona pandemic, plans have changed and now, the festival is announced for a very new location for August: the Klein Strand (“Small Beach”) in Oostende.

Italian Metal giants LACUNA COIL release their new live track and video for ‘Veneficium’ today via Century Media Records. The track is off the band's forthcoming live album, ‘Live From The Apocalypse’, which is set for release on June 25th. “‘Veneficium’ is the painful and fierce scream that rises from the darkness. Today Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell, best known for their involvement as members of DEAD CAN DANCE, release the video ‘Heleali (The Sea Will Rise)’ from the ‘Burn’ LP. This song and video are calming and grounding. This is the latest offering from the duo’s new ‘Burn’ EP, produced by James Chapman (aka MAPS) and out now via London’s Atlantic Curve.
