Her career as a singer started in the early 1980s. DORO has been a member of different Heavy Metal bands before she moved to New York in 1990. There she recorded her first solo album named after her, ‘DORO’. That was the start of an incredible solo career. She worked together with musicians like Lemmy Kilmister (MOTÖRHEAD), Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISH), Chris Boltendahl (GRAVE DIGGER), Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker (SCORPIONS) or Gene Simmons (KISS).
