VÖLUR have revealed the cover-art and further details of their forthcoming full-length ‘Death Cult’, which has been slated for release on November 13th. The third album of the Canadian trio from Toronto was partly inspired by a suggestion of human sacrifice that Tacitus relates in his book ‘Germania’. According to the Roman historiographer, the Germanic tribes of the Baltic Sea worshipped the earth goddess Nerthus by a mysterious ritual that ended with the drowning of four slaves. - Details

After the sold-out tour last year, DEAD CAN DANCE have now announced that they will return to Germany as part of their planned “Europe -2021” tour in spring 2021. DEAD CAN DANCE is Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard, two with a lot of passion musicians who formed an extraordinary duo in the pubs of Melbourne in the early 80s.
