March 2017 Oberhausen is going to become the world capital of dark electronic beats again. „BETTER-HARDER-LOUDER“ at the Turbinenhalle with the spearheads of EBM, ELECTROPOP, SYNTHPOP and INDUSTRIAL. Today the already confirmed 11-pack is joined by some extra company of three additional crackers, ready to deliver a kick-ass show:

With the album „The Blinding Dark“ being released in November, COVENANT open their next chapter, three years after „Leaving Babylon“. You need one thing when it comes to new In Strict Confidence album releases: patience. Although we could have shortened the wait, we compensated for the delay with two preliminary singles. They fell nicely into place in a wide musical range of the new fulltime-masterpiece. The perfect combination of classic electro/EBM elements in “Everything must change” particularly impressed the early fans, while “Somebody else’s dream” had a dramatic alternatively-emotional impact. All signs pointed to the fact that we can focus on our own strong points, we can focus on well-known classics and, while pushing the doors open, we can make our way forward.

Die KAMMER is a purely acoustic band consisting of eight members. The standard line-up of this extraordinary “alternative orchestra” is made up by vocals in several parts which are accompanied by two guitars, cello, violin, viola, tuba, bass and drums. In addition to that, numerous unusual instruments like mandolin, zither, street organ, bouzouki, glockenspiel, melodica and rare percussion instruments are being used. This exceptional outfit covers a wide range of music - from straightforward and catchy acoustic rock/ pop/ folk songs to whimsical, playful, bizarre circus like small work of arts as well as deeply moving melancholy ballads.
