After a 4-year hiatus, SINNER’S DAY is back! Held from 2009 to 2011 at the Ethias Arena, the indoor festival made a name for itself with headliners such as The Cult, Echo & the Bunnymen, Patti Smith, The Human League, Anne Clark and The Selecter. On Sunday 20 November, the Ethias Arena in Hasselt will once again be ground zero for devotees of the best of New Wave and Punk. The organisation is picking up where the festival left off in 2011, with exactly the same goal: showcasing the best in new wave, punk and alternative music.

For over three decades now, the Night of the Proms is connecting nowadays pop music and classical music from the last 300 years by having the most well-known classical pieces as well as the pop hits from today played by a symphonic orchestra and sung by a classical choir. As in the previous years, the Orchestra Il Novecento, conducted by Alexandra Arrieche, and the choir Fine Fleur will be supported by some of the most well-known artists from the pop and rock music business. The line-up includes JOHN MILES, NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, SIMPLE MINDS, TIME FOR THREE and STEFANIE HEINZMANN and RONAN KEATING. - Details

Biffy Clyro
2016 is unarguably the year of BIFFY CLYRO. Although these Scotsmen have been around in the music business since 1995, it has only been this year that they've managed to conquer the German market completely. Their songs are on heavy rotation on several radio stations and they've hit the stages of a great number of festivals in 2016. Last month, the trio already visited Hamburg on occasion of the Reeperbahn-Festival and they will return in early November as part of their “Ellipsis“ tour.

The German geniuses of Metalcore, CALIBAN, team up with the American giants of deathcore, SUICIDE SILENCE, to play an European tour. But that's not all, ANY GIVEN DAY and TO THE RATS AND WOLVES will also play. CALIBAN published their tenth album this year: ‘Gravity’ is the newest proof that Metalcore is not dead – even if CALIBAN had to keep it alive by themselves.

Bastille
London-based BASTILLE used to be the solo project of singer-songwriter and film freak Dan Smith. In 2010, his friends Kyle Simmons (keys), Will Farquarson (bass) and Chris ‚Woody' Wood (drums) joined him and BASTILLE became an Indie Rock band. Their debut ‘Bad Blood’, was released in March 2013 and entered the UK album charts at number one. The band played at the biggest open airs in Europe such as Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Isle of Wight Festival and also at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
