Bather Metal Open Air with Taake, Helmeim, Black Messiah, Baptism, Valkyrja and many more

For the 18th time the Barther Metal Open Air will take in the small town Barth near the Baltic Sea. The festival had its premiere in 1999 enriching the German Metal scene with  a one-day festival featuring four bands. Today the promoter remains the same but over time the festival has grown significantly. Overall 29 bands spread over the three await the fans between August 18th through 20th 2016.

VNV NATION - Special Gala Concert -

Already in 1990, the English-Irish Future Pop band VNV NATION was founded. An exceedingly important year in the history was in 1995: Since then singer and writer Ronan Harris is on the move together with drummer Mark Jackson under this name and they signed a contract with the German record company Discordia. This year also their first complete album 'Advance & Follow' appeared. Later they founded their own label Anachron Sounds and could celebrate a lot of success.

Both, the Hurricane and Southside festival are going to take place from June 24 till 26, this year; the former in Eichenring Scheeßel and the latter in Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany. Recently, the third headliner has been confirmed: THE PRODIGY. Just at the beginning of this week, the sad passing of DAVID BOWIE has shown that memories are truly significant in music and experiencing of music. Particularly festivals offer us the opportunity to see a lot of great artists on a single weekend – like, for example, in 2004 when DAVID BOWIE played his last grandiose Germany concert at the Hurricane festival. Ultimately, it's great music icons such as DAVID BOWIE that give us reason to keep on going. So, the organizers of the Hurricane and Southside are happy having won THE PRODIGY as the third headliner for the coming summer.

They are one of the most influential bands with one of the most distinctive sounds of the 90's era. A whole decade has gone by since their last album but now, LIFE OF AGONY are finally back!

Brooklyn's hard rock legends LIFE OF AGONY have signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records. LIFE OF AGONY returned to the stage and performed on multiple festival dates in Europe over the summer of 2014. The famed River Runs Red line-up, of vocalist Mina Caputo, guitarist Joey Z, bassist Alan Robert and drummer Sal Abruscato were excited to take the stage together once again after a three-year hiatus. And now the band has come back to stay, as they are about to continue touring the world and release their 5th studio album, the first in over a decade, since 2005's Broken Valley.
